Artist's Statement

Millicent Bishop is a watercolorist, teacher, juror, lecturer, past leader of the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society and the Allied Artists West and is a signature member of the Society of Western Artists. Her paintings have been exhibited in the state Capitol, civic centers, medical facilities, libraries and in juried shows. She offers techniques from her attendance to twenty art workshops, to students. She has a fine-art photographic greeting card business in her home studio; selling her original cards to the Triton Museum, Hakone Gift Center, Los Altos shops and workshop groups. She and her husband have traveled to Asia, Africa. Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
