Workshops and Demonstrations
SCVWS sponsors workshops and demonstrations throughout the year, and for several years in advance. We welcome members and non-members to participate. Workshop hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm daily, with the exception of Mike Bailey's Watercolor Beyond the Obvious, which runs 9:00am - 12:30pm on Mondays for 10 weeks.
Demonstrations are 1:30pm - 4:00pm.
Both workshops and demonstrations are held in the Historic Hoover Theatre building, San Jose, unless otherwise noted. Demonstrations are free and open to the public. Workshop signup is on a first come, first served basis.
NOTE: There is NO registration or waiting list for any workshop prior to its appearance on the registration form.
Workshop Scholarships
When funds are available, Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society will award scholarships to help members who may not be able to afford SCVWS workshop fees on their own. Other factors may be considered in addition to financial need when making this award. The names and financial information of scholarship recipients will be kept confidential.
