Celebrate solstice at the Rosicrucian Park and Peace Garden.
The architecture of the museum is inspired by an Egyptian temple. In the gardens around the museum there are other interesting buildings, plants, including pampas grass, trees, and statues with an Egyptian theme.
We can sit anywhere in the gardens, but have been asked not to block walkways. Washrooms available at Hoover Middle School or at the coffee shop at 1700 Park Ave (corner of Park Ave and Naglee Ave) a short walk from the museum.
Directions: From 880 take Bascom, turn left on Naglee, and right on Park. If coming from The Alameda, turn onto Naglee and then left at Park. The museum/park is at 1660 Park. Street parking.
