By request, we are returning to paint this magnificent Mission founded in 1797, and some of the older style shops and houses on the surrounding streets. Meet on the Plaza by the Mission. Carpools suggested due to distance from Bay Area.
Directions: From Hwy 101 south, take 129 Watsonville exit, turn left towards San Juan Bautista on Chittenden Road, bear right onto San Juan Highway, continue on to 1st Street, right on San Jose Street, first left onto 2nd Street. Street Parking. Google Maps says it is about 12 miles and 20 minutes south of Gilroy.
Attendance: Attendance is free and is open to all SCVWS members and non-members.
