Awards Juror: Jean Warren
Jean Warren is a well-known, award winning Bay Area artist, whose work has been included in many art books, such as Best of Watercolor, Bridging Time & Space, Essays on Layered Art and The Art of Layering: Making Connections. Jean holds a BA in Art Education from Rowan University, N J and has studied with Barbara Nechis, Frank Webb, Don Andrews and Donna Zagotta among others. In addition to having taught workshops here at the SCVWS in the past, she also teaches a weekly class "The Creative Process in Watercolor" at Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Jean's watercolors can be seen at the Heritage Gallery, Bodega Bay. Her paintings are included in public, corporate and private collections throughout the US and abroad. She is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, California Watercolor Association and the Society of Layerists in Multi-Media.
