Pump up your Florals!

"Dos Rosas"
by Guy Magallanes

2020 Guy Magallanes - NOW LIVE ONLINE WORKSHOP
Pump up your Florals!

DUE TO THE "SHELTER IN PLACE" MANDATE THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED AND WILL NOW BE OFFERED "LIVE" ONLINE IN MAY.

If you love florals, you will learn how to take your florals to the next level by painting hyper-realistic florals with exaggerated color and value.  Students will learn how to paint abstracted shapes that are big and small to allow the florals to emerge vividly on the paper and then finish the painting with a wow. This method of enhancing images with intense color and simplifying the subject matter by painting abstracted shapes, threaded with lights, as well as intense deep darks, help students gain confidence and comfort by painting less and to let what you put down on the paper flow "naturally" instead of trying to make it work.
